Tyrel joined Alternatives Funeral & Cremation Services® in 2013 as Managing Director, overseeing day-to-day operations, financial administration and strategy. In 2017, Tyrel acquired Alternatives Funeral & Cremation Services and continues to lead the organization. Founded on its vision to provide fair, affordable funeral and cremation services, Alternatives continues to be Western Canada’s largest independently-owned funeral and cremation services provider.
Tyrel graduated from the Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba with a focus in accounting, entrepreneurship and marketing. Tyrel is also a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants British Columbia.
